Creation of the Kazakh Language Corpus is intended for maintenance of scientific researches of lexicon and grammar of the Kazakh language, and also collection of all types of information in the Kazakh language and program introductions on its processing, classification and the analysis on the set parameters. The corpus of the Kazakh language will put base for formation of unique system of the analysis of a current state of a state language of the Republic of Kazakhstan.The purposes and problems of Corpus:
- To serve as a reliable source of an actual material for drawing up of dictionaries, grammars, textbooks, handbooks;
- To provide possibility of check of linguistic hypotheses on as much as possible representative material;
- To serve as a handbook to clarify matters about the modern Kazakh literary discourse, that is to serve as an effective helper for all who work with words (linguists, literary critics, journalists, writers, translators, teachers of the Kazakh language and etc.).
The corpus of the Kazakh language will represent the Kazakh language at a certain stage (or stages) its existence and in all variety of genres, styles, territorial and social variants, etc.
