Omarov Baurzhan Zhumakhanuly

Doctor of Philology, professor, was born in 1962, Kazakh.

In 1986 graduated from  KazSU named after S.M.Kirov, on speciality "journalist".

In 1998  graduated from  Moscow International University of Business and Information Technology on speciality  "economist".

In 2006 he graduated from  Kazakh Economic University  named after T. Ryskulov, on speciality  "State and local administration "

He began his career in July, 1979 as a worker of production association "Аралрыбпром", in Aral city, Kyzylorda oblast
 
1991-1994 – he worked as correspondent, interpreter, senior correspondent,  head of a department of newspaper  " Leninshil zhas" ("Zhas Alash"), Almaty city.
 
1994-1996 – worked as senior lecturer of the faculty of journalism at KazSU named after Al-Farabi, Almaty city. 
 
1996-1997 - worked as pro-rector of Khyzylorda State University named after Korkyt Ata, in Khyzylorda.
 
1997-1998 – deputy akim of  Khyzylorda  city, deputy chairman of  administrative board  of  Khyzylorda  SEC, in Khyzylorda
 
1998-2000 - SSB (person working for doctor's degree) KazSU named after Al-Farabi, Almaty city 
 
2000-2003 – Head of department of the Institution of Literature and Art of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, SSB, Almaty city.
 
2003-2004 – acting as director of department on development of languages of  the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana city.
 
2004-2005 – director of department on development of languages of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana city.
 
2005-2006 – representative of the Committee on languages of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana city.
 
2006-2007 – acting as director of  LLC "Liter Меdia", Astana city.
 
2007-2007 – first deputy of chief editor of newspaper "Astana khabari", Astana city.
 
2007-2008 - editor-in-chief of newspaper "Aikin",  Almaty city.
 
2008-2008 – chief of Akimat apparatus of Khyzylorda oblast, Khyzylorda city.
 
2008-2009 - director general of  LLC "Kazakh gazetteri", Almaty city.
 
2009 -2010 – chairman of the Committee on Information and archives of the Ministry of Culture and information of  RK.

Since 14 April, 2010 – chairman of the Committee on Languages of the Ministry of Culture and Information of  RK.
